Irish Fiddle with Fergal Scahill
July 21st, 2025 from 19:00 untill 20:30 (CEST)

Meet Irish Fiddler Fergal Scahill!
Multi-instrumentalist Fergal Scahill is one of the most renowned fiddlers in Irish music today. He is most well know as the fiddler in award winning band We Banjo 3 but his career has spanned over 20 years, performing thousands of shows in over 30 countries.
Fergal has recorded a full course for The Folk Music Academy, which will be released soon!
"In this Zoom workshop, I’ll be introducing my new fiddle series on the Fork Music Academy. We’ll learn a tune by ear, and I’ll give a broad overview of some of the key Irish ornaments—like cuts, rolls, and triplets—that I’ll explore in more depth throughout the series. I’ll also share a bit about my own musical background, my approach to teaching and playing, and what you can expect from the upcoming workshops."
